Proxy settings in Runemate for OSRS

Runemate is a dedicated bot for the Old School RuneScape (OSRS) online game. It helps gamers to pass difficult levels, and get additional treasures and bonuses. However, the game's moderation system does not allow bots and actively bans accounts for using them. That is why you need proxy servers for Runemate.

A proxy will hide your IP address and location as well as protect your account from blocking. Bot actions with a proxy server will look organic as if all actions are performed by a real person, not a program.

The bot itself does not have a function to configure a proxy, so we will show you 2 other ways to set up and use a proxy server in Runemate.

How to set up a proxy for Runemate using Proxifier

1. Download and run the Proxifier program.
2. Select the "Profile" tab and then "Proxy Servers".



3. Click on the "Add" button.



4. Enter the IP address of your proxy in the "Address" line and Port in the "Port" line; Select a proxy type below.



5. Check the box next to "Enable" and enter the Username and Password of your proxy server.



6. Click on the "OK" button.



7. When you close the settings, a window will appear. Click “Yes”.



8. Now select the "Profile" tab and then "Proxification Rules".



9. Click on the "Add" button.



10. Enter any name for the task in the "Name" field.



11. Click on the "Browse" button and select the path to the Runemate bot.



12. At the bottom, next to the "Action" inscription, select the desired proxy (which you have already configured according to the instructions above). Click “OK” and the proxy will only work for Runemate.

How to configure proxy for Runemate through Windows settings

The disadvantage of this method is that the proxy will work for all programs and connections on the device, and not just for the bot.

1. Click on the Windows icon and go to "Settings".



2. In the sidebar, go to the "Network Internet" section and then select "Proxy".



3. Next to "Use a proxy server" click on the "Set up" button.



4. Move the slider to the "On" mode to enable the proxy setting.



5. Enter the IP address and Port of your proxy server.



6. Click on the “Save” button.
