How to unblock Spotify using a proxy

Spotify is a popular streaming platform that lets you listen to music, podcasts, and audiobooks on any device. However, some users may experience problems accessing the service or individual artists. To solve the problem, you will need a proxy server for Spotify.

Why is it important to set up a proxy in Spotify

A proxy server will change your IP address and location as well as help you stay anonymous online. If you are in a country where Spotify is blocked, you will get data from another country with a proxy and you can use the service without any problems.

Proxies also make it possible to create multiple Spotify accounts at once (for this you need to set up a separate proxy for each account), hide your traffic and listening history, and use special bots or services to boost plays.

You can add a proxy while logging into your account or in the settings after authorization. We will show you both ways to set up:

What type of proxy to use for Spotify

Spotify supports HTTP and SOCKS5 proxy types. If you need proxy servers to use bots, boost plays or maintain multi-accounts, use the more reliable SOCKS5 type. If you just want to listen to music securely from anywhere in the world, your HTTP one is fine.

We also recommend choosing proxies with US IP addresses, as Spotify has the widest access from America.
