BlueStacks is an Android emulator compatible with Windows and Mac, enabling users to run mobile applications on their computers. With this emulator, you can play popular games like Free Fire and PUBG on a PC, and access a variety of applications not natively available on your desktop, including instant messengers, social networks, and professional software. To download region-restricted programs, configure a proxy in BlueStacks 5 using Proxifier.
Step-by-step proxy setup in BlueStacks via Proxifier
To set up and use a proxy in BlueStacks, follow the step-by-step instructions:
- Download and install Proxifier and BlueStacks for Windows or Mac.
- Open Proxifier, go to the “Profile” tab, and select “Proxy Servers”.
- Click “Add” in the pop-up window to set up a new server.
- Enter the proxy's IP address and port in the “Server” section's “Address” and “Port” fields.
- In the “Protocol” section, choose the proxy protocol: SOCKS5, SOCKS4, or HTTPS.
- For a private server with authorization, enable authentication and input your username and password.
- Click “Check” to test the connection. A “Testing failed” message indicates an issue, while “Proxy is ready to work with Proxifier!” confirms a successful setup.
- Click "OK" to save the server settings.
- In the next pop-up, select “Yes” to set this proxy as default, or decline to manually choose a server later.
- Link the server to BlueStacks by going to the “Profile” tab and choosing “Proxification Rules”.
- Add a new rule by clicking "Add".
- Name the rule for easy identification.
- Click “Browse” and select the "HD-Player" file from the BlueStacks root directory.
- Ensure the correct proxy is chosen in the “Action” menu, or select the newly created server.
- Click "OK" to save all configurations.
Now, BlueStacks will function with access to Android applications and games as if it were located in the server's country.
