How to set up a proxy in the LDPlayer emulator

LDPlayer is an Android gaming emulator that allows you to play your favorite mobile games on your PC. It supports popular titles like PUBG Mobile, Standoff 2, Call of Duty Mobile, Brawl Stars, Roblox, and many more. This Windows-compatible emulator supports all Google Play apps and comes with pre-installed applications.

Using an Android gaming emulator on your PC offers enhanced gaming performance without worrying about your mobile device's compatibility with specific games. It also provides the advantage of playing on a larger screen.

In situations where certain games are unavailable in the emulator due to geo-blocking, using a proxy for LDPlayer is a practical solution. This not only bypasses blocks and restrictions but also ensures complete anonymity online by replacing your real IP address. There are several methods to set up a proxy in LDPlayer, which we'll explore in more detail next.

Step-by-step proxy setup in LDPlayer

The first method to integrate a proxy in LDPlayer on a PC involves using the Postern application, a dedicated proxy client, since the emulator itself doesn't have built-in functionality for integrating private proxies.

  1. Click on the gear icon on the main screen of the emulator to open settings.

  2. Navigate to the “Network” section and activate the “Network bridging” option.

  3. In the “IP Setting” section, select “Static” and enter your new IP-address in the “IP address” field. Click “Save” to confirm.

  4. Launch the Postern application you installed earlier. On the main screen, click on the “Add Proxy” button.

  5. Fill in the designated fields with your proxy data: IP-address (same as entered in the emulator), port, protocol type from the drop-down list, and username and password if using private proxies. Click “Save” to save the settings.

  6. Navigate to the “Rules” section from the main menu and click “Add Rule”.

  7. Follow the instructions as shown in the screenshot. In the “Proxy/Proxy Group” section, select the proxy you configured earlier instead of “Unknown Proxy”. Click “Save” to apply the settings.

  8. Restart LDPlayer. All your activities will now occur under the new IP address, providing anonymity for your online actions.

How to set up a proxy in LDPlayer using Proxifier

You can also configure a proxy in LDPlayer using Proxifier, a specialized program for setting up proxies for individual applications. Here are the step-by-step instructions for this setup:

  1. Launch the program and click on “Proxy Servers” in the “Profile” tab on the top panel.

  2. Click “Add” in the next window.

  3. Fill in your proxy's details: IP-address, port, and select the protocol type from the drop-down list.

  4. Activate the “Authentication” option and enter your username and password in the fields that appear.

  5. Click “OK” to add the proxy to the list of available connections. Click “OK” again to confirm.

  6. Return to the “Profile” tab and select “Proxification Rules”.

  7. Click “Add” in the new window.

  8. Set a name for your rule (e.g., “LDPlayer”) and click “Browse” to find the LDPlayer installation file with the “.exe” extension in your PC's folder.

  9. In the “Action” drop-down menu at the bottom, select the proxy you configured earlier.

  10. Click “OK” to see the new rule in the general list. Ensure there's a checkmark next to it and click “OK” again.

Now, when you launch LDPlayer, all traffic will be redirected through the new server. Make sure the Proxifier is running as well.
